Inner Choice Psychotherapy, located in Chicago, Illinois, is a small group practice founded in 2021 by Annabeth Chickering, LCPC, NCC. Inner Choice Psychotherapy specializes in offering relational, culturally-competent care to all humans, including Jews. Annabeth strives to create an environment for therapists in which they feel supported and nurtured in their clinical work and are therefore able to be present for and supportive of their clients.
Inner Choice Psychotherapy is currently looking to hire Illinois fully (masters or doctoral level) or provisionally licensed, relational, grounded therapists who have the following:
- Belief that developing a secure, non-hierarchical therapeutic attachment with clients is at the core of therapeutic care
- Belief that all clients deserve culturally-competent care
- Willingness to learn and grow as a therapist
- Desire to meet clients where they are and help them move forward with greater understanding of themselves and their environment
- Desire to be part of a team that values flexibility, autonomy, calmness, and accountability
- Interest/expertise in working with people experiencing mood disorders; identity development, including sexual and gender development; trauma, including childhood and intergenerational trauma, life transitions, and grief
