Inner Choice is Growing

Inner Choice is very excited to welcome Elizabeth Birnkrant to our team.

As fall slowly makes its presence known, many are feeling the emotional impact of the seasonal transition. For some this means a time of renewed introspection and for others the fear of isolation. Elizabeth believes in honoring the different lived experiences of her clients; she collaborates with them to help them listen to their authentic voice, strengthen communication in their relationships, and take actions that align with their values.

Elizabeth has experience working with folks living with symptoms of mood disorders, trauma, and addictions. Her work as a professional actor and acting teacher has given her the ability to understand the dialectic on a deep level, utilizing this understanding to help couples and families find balance, manage emotions, and increase communication skills.

Elizabeth works from an existential perspective, centering meaning making as a pathway towards managing the stressors of our current times, as well as past experiences. Her focus on clients’ strengths allows Elizabeth to help people trust their intuition, and accept what is, and is not, in their control.

Elizabeth believes in the importance of understanding the psychological impact of the systems in which we live. She listens to clients with empathy and without judgment, helping them listen to their internal voice and manage the world around them.

As we all navigate the shifts in seasons and the tumultuousness of a world filled with broken pieces, Elizabeth is here to listen and partner with you in your healing journey.

Inner Choice Psychotherapy is thrilled to welcome another therapist to our team who  reflects Inner Choice Psychotherapy’s values of providing culturally-competent care to all.
